Place fundamentally shapes identity, oscillating between celebrated landmarks and those overlooked terrains of transit defined as "non-places." Radio Future Voices (2021) intervened in one such urban interstice, reclaiming it as a site of collective imagination. Developed in collaboration with light artist Nils-R. Schultze, the project transformed the site into an immersive public environment - a physical and auditory threshold where the conversation was brought directly to the city streets.

At the core of this intervention was a live-generated radio stream by the Society for Non-Trivial Pursuits. This sonic architecture was composed entirely of participants’ voices: a real-time broadcast of hopes, fears, and aspirations. By inviting the public to articulate how we want to live together, the installation functioned as a shared space for reflecting on the urban futures we wish to inhabit.

In this context, listening was reframed as a radical, participatory act of future-making. The responses, broadcast and archived in real time, formed a living repository of the contemporary conditions. Radio Future Voices thus moved beyond mere installation, serving as a social catalyst that turned fleeting urban transit into a meaningful, resonant dialogue.
